Ben Woodhams and I have now visited all the 28 kindergardens in Bornholm introducing the art project "The tree of Life", a project that aims to prepare the eldest kindergarden children to start school. We teach them the importance of trees, of building a good world where you take care of the environment, animals and each other. We also teach them drawing and to reuse things. Along with us we bring our two animals Oscar and Bertram, both build from garbage. Tomorrow we start session two in the schools where the children will meet their new class mates, and together with Ben and I, build a "Tree of Life" and create animals from found garbage. We are very happy to be able to do an art project like this including so many children!
